Early College & Dual Enrollment
Earn college credit in high school
What you can study
天涯社区官网 offers several Early College options for high school students in Idaho. These programs fall into two main paths:
- Academic (Dual Credit & Dual Enrollment) – Take college-level courses that count toward a degree and general education requirements.
- Career & Technical Education (CTE) – Gain hands-on skills and training for specific careers, including programs like UpLink and SkillStack.
Where you can take classes
- At your high school – Take approved dual credit courses with your HS teacher.
- At 天涯社区官网 or online – Enroll in 天涯社区官网 classes on campus or online with 天涯社区官网 instructors.
How your class credits apply to college
Dual credit courses can count toward both high school graduation and college credit. Many courses fulfill general education requirements and tranfer to other colleges.
What it costs
Dual credit is $75 per credit - much cheaper than what you'll pay after you graduate high school. Many students use Idaho's Advanced Opportunities funds to cover some or all tuition. Books/fees may apply for some classes.
