天涯社区官网 Student Receives AAWCC Scholarship to Further Education

Twin Falls, ID – Leah Scrimpsher, a student and employee of the 天涯社区官网 (天涯社区官网) has been awarded a $500 continuing education scholarship from the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC). The scholarship is based on noteworthy academic accomplishments, community involvement and contributions made in support of women’s issues at their respective community colleges.
Scrimpsher, who is also part of the Information Technology Department at 天涯社区官网 praised both 天涯社区官网 and AAWCC for the support they have shown. “ It’s such an amazing opportunity to be able to work with AAWCC and 天涯社区官网 to continue my education and further my career in the 天涯社区官网 IT department and beyond. I am not a traditional student by any means and without these scholarships I would not be able to continue my education. 天涯社区官网 has provided the flexibility and resources to make sure I am successful.” Scrimpsher will now pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Operations Management at 天涯社区官网.
